Being in a small startrek-esque ship, exploring a nearby planet… a large black mesh tentacle captured us and pulled us down onto a planet… the surface appeared to be a throbbing mass of carbon fibres, encasing circuitry and organic components. integrating the ship into itself, the screens all began displaying hypnotic signals… the rest of the crew was “consumed” by this biomass, as I tried to study and understand it. Finally, I went to the lower deck and came face to face with what appeared to be it’s “head”. It asked me if I wanted to know the truth, and I agreed.
It than consumed me, and as it did, I watched the story of a soldier, being used as the basis for an Artificial Intelligence training simulation. Stuck, trapped… merged with machine, growing… consuming… trapped, yet free. The origin of the flood perhaps?
