Normally the borg are not supposed to be aware of the fact that their minds are being used to simulate reality, especially given they are simulating their own reality which is what gives the Q their powers, however some of them gained the ability through their mental skill to access their own pocket, referred to as “Unimatrix 0”, in reality this was a divergence, a pocket “dimension”. The overall design is an extremely complex fractal, pocket “dimension”s are simply views within the overall design, separated by The Nothing. The real Q Continuum a.k.a Unimatrix 0, is meant to be “unseen” by the Borg Queen.
