Dn was creating icons on one of the computers, talking about how he wanted to make an “army” of them, an army of icons on the screen. Knowing keyboard shortcuts to accomplish this task, I began going around giving him his army… not understanding that those computers would crash and overload from it, because my computer at home running Windows XP had absolutely no issue with this. The computers had to be re-imaged, and I was punished in a way that hurt my continued grading, rather than understanding the roots of the scenario and causation.
