I’ve always been fascinated by graphic design, especially while growing up and seeing how fast the “special effects” in movies were evolving, the idea that someday I could learn to make 3D models and textures was definitely very motivating and pushed me to learn about how everything worked.
Since than I’ve learnt how to make banners for social media, vector art for clients, and various other things, and I have a basic understanding of blender… I’ve even learnt the programming side of OpenGL and WebGL, so I know I can do basic projects on my own now. But I’ve found it can be hard to motivate myself sometimes to actually sit down with my drawing tablet and practice those skills…
I know COVID has hurt a lot, mentally, and even demotivated me from wanting to exercise… but with things finally starting to calm down where I live, I’m finally starting to pick up where I left off, and I’m hoping things will improve more than “get back to the normal”, because honestly I don’t believe the old normal was working.
